Version 2 av Saber Professional levereras i februari 2012

Ny version av Saber Professional snart i lager. Ny version av Saber Pro innebär bland annat att datatrafiken mer än halverats genom optimering av client - server kommunikationen. Under våren kommer även en ny version av Saber Webportal, portal 3.0. Portal 3.0 kommer att ha förbättrat användargränsnitt samt stöd för Saber Visualizer 2.0. I dagsläget finns Saber Visualizer bara för större fastigheter i Visualizer 2.0 ingår även en framtida version för Visualizer för villor. I dagsläget testas tekniken för system med skärmar från 7" och uppåt.

Telia har problem med mobilnätet

Telia verkar ha problem med mobilnätet på porsön i Luleå. De verkar ha haft problem under hela hösten. Igår och idag verkar dock problemen vara extra stora. Så om ni inte kommer fram på våra mobiltelefoner prova att ringa direkt till kontoret på 0920-75085.

KYAB offers thesis work for students

Thesis 1: Widget for Windows7. The widget will display weather forecasts and energy right now. Requirements: web programming javascript, html and similar is a plus. A plus if you are a user of both Windows and Linux. In principle all development is made in Linux environment. However, of course, the widget should be developed in Windows environment. Education: Master of Science program in Computer, Electro or Physics or equivalent.

Thesis 2: Remote control of electronic products via mobile phone. Requirements: web programming and app development is a plus. Thesis may be either pure software development for mobile phones or a combination of hardware and software development. If you are only interested in programming, we can develop the hardware itself. Education: Master of Science program in Computer, Electro or Physics or equivalent.

Swedish distributor of Saber Home

Last fall we signed agreements with WEBSAB Sweden AB and is the distributor for Saber Home. Now the transition phase is over and WEBSAB has completely taken over the sales and support of Saber Home in Sweden. For more information on WEBSAB and their products and services have a look at WEBSAB.SE.

We will continue to be in charge of service and operation of saberhome.se altough all support issues and warranty issues regarding Saber Home (private individuals) should be taken care of WEBSAB.

Delivery of Saber Visualizer

Now it's busy days. Saber visualizer to be delivered to municipalities and businesses around the country. Deliveries of Saber Visualizer will start at the end of the month and delivery schedule of the current orders run until September 2012. Delivery time from order to delivery is approximately 2 weeks for most products and services. In some situations, we have longer measurement periods and then delivery of Saber visualizer and user involvement starts after reference measurement period has ended.
